Deviation Actions
Due to our moderators currently being unavailable, submissions to group are temporary closed. Contributors can still submit.
When I reopen submissions there may be severe changes to how the group functions in the future, this is to ease up the load for mods because our group has simply grown so big - it's not humanly possible to work things how they're going right now.
Want to become a contributor?
Contributors are expected to be talented artists/photographers/crafters who are very familiar with the groups rules and therefor equally trustworthy people like our mods are.
Answer these and send them as a NOTE to the group to apply as a contributor, title as "Contributor request":
1. Tell me shortly about you as an artist.
2. Link three of your best works that have been previously accepted to our group.
3. You have a piece that contains a clothless female raccoon in a forest scenery, tell me: in which circumstances the piece would be declined or accepted to our group, and which folder it should be submitted to.
Want to help out and become a moderator?
Moderators are expected to have a good understanding of artwork, groups rules and be good at speaking english.
Answer these following things and NOTE them to the group, title "Moderator request":
1. You have a piece that contains a clothless female raccoon in a forest scenery, tell me: in which circumstances the piece would be declined or accepted to our group, and which folder it should be submitted to.
2. There is a traditional pencil piece, tell me: in which circumstances a black&white piece is declined or accepted to our group and how a traditional piece must be presented to be acceptable.
3. Link a piece from our current gallery that should've been declined according to the groups rules and explain why (there's several correct answers to this and this task doesn't require you to dig through lots of pages).
Contributors are expected to produce higher quality than the average which is accepted to the group, this is to make sure that the artwork quality being submitted by contributors is stable. Younger artists often produce a huge variety of quality, so while some submissions are accepted not all of them would go through. Moderators are not expected to be artists but need to be capable of judging the quality of artwork!
Have a nice christmas! :3

Last call: We need more moderators or changes?
Heyo,
Our group is still struggling on the fact that there is not enough moderators to keep it going and we have not got a single interested person over several months of waiting.
The current options are:
1) We magically get new suitable people interested being a mod (that's not going to happen at this point.)
2) We dramatically change how the group functions (even then we need more active mods, but maybe if we functioned differently it'd be more appealing for the mods?)
3) The group closes permanently (yay?)
What would you like DeviantFur's future to be like?
If less than 10 people comment here I'll take it as not even normal members are
Submissions to Favorites OPENED! +Other stuff
Heya, as you might've noticed, we are still harshly short in moderators. There's currently three of us here semi-active, the rest are unresponsive.
The main submissions stay closed until new interested people feel a passion to help this group shine once again.
Favorites Submissions
This is an unmoderated area and doesn't follow the same submission rules as actual submissions, as a member you are expected to submit according to DeviantArts rules and into correct folder for your own benefit. Submissions are automatically approved.
1. Each member can submit to favorites twice a week, so choose carefully. You can submit your own works or other

Submission changes / Need new moderators!
We do not have the moderators to handle the massive load of submissions we get daily, therefor:
1. Global submission limit is set to 1 deviation per member a month.
2. Reference sheets folder is now closed, we do not accept reference sheets at the moment.
If you'd like to apply as a moderator, check out this journal here:

If we don't find new moderators soon, I'll close up the submissions until we get enough or try to find another solution.
