---F.A.Q.---
How do I submit art?Members are able to contribute art by going to our gallery and hitting "Submit to this Gallery". Contributors are able to submit art by using the above method, or when submitting/editing a deviation on the "Submit Art" page, they can opt to have it show up in #
deviantFUR's gallery.
Why was my artwork declined/removed?One of many reasons: It was placed into the wrong folder, it was against our rules... But most of the time our moderators leave a message describing the reason. If not, you may always ask.
What is a contributor?A contributor is a section of members who contribute art. Regular members can contribute art via the "Submit to this Gallery" button on our Gallery, a contributor can submit art using the method above, and contribute by selecting "deviantFUR" when submitting a new deviation.
How do I become a contributor?You must be a member of #
deviantFUR for at least a month while posting artwork or/and suggesting artwork to the gallery, without constantly breaking the rules. Once you feel that you have fulfilled the requirements you may send us a note asking to become a contributor.
Is there a limit on how much I can contribute?Members may submit 3 pieces of artwork per week, whereas contributors may submit 1 per day. This is because we would really like the gallery to have a diversity in style.
What if I stop contributing art? Do I get kicked out of the group? No. Though you may be moved back to being a member if you don't contribute for a couple of months. This is something that is really determined on a case to case basis so if you are having trouble with something or you have a broken computer etc., I wouldn't worry.
Can I contribute art from my gallery that I requested, commissioned or otherwise didn't make on my own?No. You can only submit art that you created by yourself (unless you are suggesting a piece of art for the gallery from another artist). If it's a collaboration with another artist or you used stock images, that's fine. If you're not sure that your piece of art meets this standards, feel free to send a note to the group!
Please ask if you have ANY additional questions!
